This year’s edition of EXPOTUR XXXVI will be held virtually, using the latest technology to showcase a personalized approach for the promotion and marketing of the country as a tourist destination that is adapting to the "new normality" . From November 16-21, tourism companies will have the opportunity to participate in the country’s most important marketing exchange that will be done virtually. Using technology, local entrepreneurs will be able to connect with nearly 250 international buyers, keep a record and traceability in real time of marketing appointments, have access to seminars and to a networking platform. "Expotur Virtual 2020 is the first opportunity for international promotion and marketing that Costa Rican companies will have as we unable to travel. This is an international promotional strategy with a vision towards 2021," said Daniel Chavarria, who is responsible for attracting top-level buyers to the Exchange.
