Own by a Costa Rican family, Punta Marenco Lodge is in the Punta Rio Claro National Wildlife Refuge, more than 900 acres and access to another 400 acres of primary forest. The property has almost 4000 feet of beachfront. There is a three-mile no commercial fishing zone around the wildlife refuge passed the Caño Island allowing more of the sea life to breed and prosper. Punta Marenco Lodge is nestled in the rainforest on the Osa Peninsula overlooking spectacular views of Pacific Ocean. There are 18 comfortable bungalows where you can feel the ocean breeze and be soothed by the sound of the waves and wildlife. Each bungalow has a private bathroom and outdoor deck. Is an eco-friendly lodge. The lodge is run by on site by “green” power; solar and hydroelectric. We source our food from local sources when possible; including fish caught right off the shore by Punta Marenco staff.
