Visiting the largest coffee plantation in Costa Rica will allow you to learn all about the process related to cultivation, processing, and best practices, as well as your natural and cultural surroundings.

Costa Rica is known for offering quality coffee, comparable to the best in the world. However, 90% of the local production is for export, with only 10% for domestic consumption.

Since 1940, the Vargas family has been growing coffee. Initially, their efforts focused on this activity, and years later, they began to venture into the later stages of this process. First, the wet mill, then moving on to the coffee drying stage, introducing new technologies; and finally, entering the international market for exporting coffee beans, a process in which three generations have over 50 years of experience.
