The La Fortuna Waterfall River is located in a biological reserve covering an area of 210 hectares, transitioning from premontane rainforest. It is part of the Arenal Volcano National Park and is situated at 520 meters above sea level, where the sources of our mountains and the waters of the Fortuna River meet. In this area lie the Cerro de los Perdidos, the Plaques de Mai, and Cerro Chato, which rest on rocky bases of great geological value, surrounded by lush vegetation and picturesque beauty.
