Small Distinctive Hotels

Small Distinctive Hotels is a group of nine exclusive hotels located in different areas of Costa Rica. Each one possesses luxury hotel features, with personalized service, private atmospheres, and excellent cuisine. Each one has its own characteristic that makes them different and unmatched. They are known as Boutique Hotels.

Founded in 1997, as an initiative of hotel owners, aiming to join forces in terms of promotion, but additionally, they integrated as a family to help each other in the operation of their hotels.

Our values focus on ethics, respect, equality, quality, integrity, and solidarity.

The destinations where our hotels are located are: San José, Playa Tamarindo, Central Pacific (Jaco), Playa Santa Teresa, Turrialba, Vara Blanca, Playa Dominical, Osa Peninsula, and Monteverde.
