Tierra Verde Adventures

During 2012, Tierra Verde received the Level 5 Sustainable Tourism Certification (the highest level possible). Since 2010, Rainforest Alliance has certified us as a travel operator according to internationally recognized sustainability criteria. In 2016, we received the Rainforest Alliance Certified™ seal. Additionally, we participate in the Blue Flag Ecological Program (Ecological Blue Flag) and have been awarded 4 stars in the “Climate Change” category.

Tierra Verde Adventures was founded in 1995 as a receptive agency and tour operator in Costa Rica and is authorized by the Costa Rican Tourism Institute (ict).  Its members include the National Chambers of Tourism (hoja), Futuropa Group, the Chamber of Ecotourism and Sustainable Tourism of Costa Rica (CANAECO).
